St. Michael's School has been in existence since 1954. The new school location was dedicated in September, 1997. (Complete with computer facilities, supplementary assistance, and new playground equipment.)

St. Michael's is part of the Hastings Catholic School system:

• St. Michael's Elementary (K-5)
• St. Cecilia Middle School (6-8)
• St. Cecilia High School (9-12)

We are under the patronage of St. Michael the Archangel. The elementary school's current enrollment is 255 students.

• Parish pre-school offered on grounds.

• We also offer a band program and "Spirit Singers" to our 5th grade.

• The students attend daily mass at St. Michael's Parish Church which is attached to the school building.
• Children directly participate in the planning of the liturgy; do reading, sing songs, and serve in other roles.

• Religion is a part of the curriculum.
